Remarks

The college environment is very good the canteen is also the very good library is very good the playground is very good and the whole college is very well maintained and I recommend this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The courses and exams are based on CBCS. Educational excursions are arranged by the respective departments for better knowledge on the particular subject, industrial visits are also organized for some departments. But the placement facility is not so good.

Placement Experience

3.5

I don't have any experience or knowledge about the placement as I was not interested. But a number of local and national companies visit our college to recruit every year.

College Events

5

Freshers welcome program, for the fresh students admitted in the college and the event is celebrated very largely by performing the well-known brands like underground authority spunk and the local train. Annual cultural festival another biggest event celebrated in our college all the teachers and students can take part in this program. Annual sports events And many other seminars, departmental events are arranged.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fees structure is not so high and affordable for middle-class students. Girls all the facilities available for the payment of the fee of any course extra charges are and taken as the semester examination form fill-ups. And the fees depend on the subject. The fees vary depending on the type of subject taken, extra fees have to pay for laboratory-based subjects like chemistry, physics, botany, computer science, biochemistry.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I applied for a scholarship for the Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship given by the government of West Bengal the eligibility criteria was 75% marks in the last exam. But I did not get about the college scholarship given to the students.

Campus Life

4.5

There was an awesome campus life in our college very friendly environment was there who is to hang out on the time of our classes. Also, there was a very good environment for the studies. Yes, there were no religious issues any no racism no sexual harassment any ragging on our college campus I didn't face.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are good(rooms, foods, maintenance, study environment and other off-time activities like games music, etc are available) but I didn't have opted for a hostel because colleges were near about my home so I used to daily passenger from my home by the train.

Alumni/Alumna

Relation with seniors of our college was very good and that till the date they are in contact with us and help us with different ways like on studies exam preparation and they are also very social they encourage to take part in the social festivals in our college programs.

Admission

I took admission at Triveni Devi Bhalotia College in 2016 after passing out the higher secondary exam for WBCHSE. As I loved Chemistry, I chose to go for the higher education of chemistry so I choose the B.Sc honors (chemistry) course. I choose this institution for the experienced faculties, well-maintained laboratory, Library, and smart classrooms. To take admission, you just have to fill the form (generally the admission form is released in May last week) and all the admission procedures will be online on the college website.

Faculty

4.5

Yes, the faculties are so experienced(all the professors have post-doctorate) helpful for the students and they are available any time of the college. They try their best to make us understand a topic. There are no. Of research laboratory in the department of chemistry for the scholars who want to research on their interest.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

Biotechnology is a highly demanding course in today's world. The syllabus for this course is mostly around bookish knowledge and you have to gather outside knowledge on your own.
