Yes thr curriculam was groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students and the this was more than enough dor placements. I am a first year student so i did not take any industrial visits but there will be industrial visits in the coming year and is really looking ng forward to it

Many companies visit our college for placements vompanies like Infosys tata hp etc our college is one of the most best and placemets are real good in here.

College Events

Many events have tokke place in our college like cultural fests known as ragam and technology fests etc and these are real good for the students we get much experience in the filed due to the technology and stuff fests as i am a technology student. There are also many religiouss fests and sports fests our college gives importance to sports also

Fee Structure And Facilities

It isbin between feasible and expensive. But not much expensive. It is aroundn1 lakh per annum not including hostel fees and meaa fees. There are no paid admission in our college. Admission to our college is only through the entrance exams and cannot secureva a seat by money

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. There are so many scolarships from our college that is very helpful for the students and i did not opt for any loan but yeah i have gkt svolarships

Campus Life

Best college life ever i have experienced in my college size ot the college is medium sized with big grounds and labs Classrooms are bery good and the campus life here is the best. I love here and do the other students.noone has bad cmapus life here

Yeah. They all saisd it was a good college. Only got good reviews and from the alumni i came to college and turns out to be the best college.

I choosed this college beacause it was one of the best colleges in india so i did not take any second thought and the admission to this college is through entrance.first we have to pass the entrance exam with above 95 percentile and go to the college for further admission procedures

The faculty of our college are the best. They are well hraduates drom good colleges like Indian institute of technologys and they are so good. We use our faculty very good and they are also very good at soubt clearance and stuff. Veey good faculty

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
