Course Curriculum Overview
The course we are being fed with right now is an updated one than the prior batch. Its it objective driven and careers and specialization centric on the most part. College even has its own placement cell to further guide us with the career prospects in lieu to our courses.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has its own placement cell to guide us with our placement prospects. Even the departments and the college organises various events to provide and get us in touch with internships and career scopes at per our courses.
College Events
The colleges of university of Delhi mosty have their own individual college fests once a year. The departments too have their own events and fests around the year. The societies too work in the same way by organising events with accordance to their functions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The University of Delhi is a government run education institute, and is also funded by the government. The colleges are of minimal fees not going above ?20000 a year for the finest colleges, unlikes lakhs into private colleges. The examination fees are seperate and are raised prior to the exams.

Campus Life
Campus life is all diverse, as the shaheed bhagat singh college is an all coed college. It has its own hugh playground, with cricket pitch, tennis courts, basketball courts, table tennis and chess/carom room. Sports day is also organised, and foreign students are also seen around campus.
Hostel Facilities
I like 15mins walk from the college as quality apartments or flats aren't available in college proximity. All residences are values more near the institution and rates fade away with the poshness and importance of the areas.
Alumni/Alumna
When I first joined in college, I became friends with a couple of super seniors, who were literally passouts. They were of great use to guide us with all the tips, tricks and perks of college life.
Admission
To be a part of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh College family, one must score above 90% for the most part on their 12th or higher secondary examination. A cutoff list is released by a university, which must match the required percentage and criterias provided in the university page. One must keep in check on the University of Delhi online portal to be updated with all the notices and processes to apply into Delhi University.
Faculty
The whole of the faculty of department of Geography in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is of doctorate degree teachers, who are in depth specialized with their own PhD centric courses, allowing us to interact with them in the different semesters. The age group and expertise of the professors vary from young to old.
