Our college provides a very good environment for studies and for developing a good professional life. And I got into this college through writing KEAM.

I chose this course as it is one of the booming industries now and will provide a good career. All faculties are highly qualified and they are willing to help you all the time.

Our college's placement cell is strong. Most of our seniors from other branches got good placements last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

When you get through Keam you have to pay 75000 per year as fees for this course. But there are scholarship schemes provided by our college based on your 12th std marks and Keam rank. Details regarding the fee structure and scholarships are on the college website.

Campus Life

Libraries are well equipped and computerised. Overall campus environment is calm and peaceful. Tech fests conducted during even semester.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
