Remarks

Everything is good but only thing college is not so spacious and there are lack of faculty in the college. Otherwise college is good.Principal and head of department are also good and well behaved. The college is also providing private security guard at the college gate and also provides well maintained environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's good. The prelims phase contains 150 question, 50 question from physics, 50 questions from chemistry and 50 question from maths.One have to complete the prelims paper in 2 hour. After qualifying prelims, there will be a mains exam. The main exam is departed in physics, chemistry and math. There are 200 question on each and 2 hours is alloted for each subject i.e.physics,chemistry and maths.

Placement Experience

I don't have much more idea. As we are the first batch of our college. Yes,they are providing internship but that are paid. One can also do internship in any company by their own. I, personally had done internship at Powergrid, gaurichak and grid substation mithapur.

Yes,there are various cultural events are celebrated in our college like orientation programme for every batch, Freshers party for juniors, Independence Day, Republic Day, yoga diwas, environments Day, teachers day, annual fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for all student. We are required to pay rs.3200 in every semester. General an obc category students are required to pay rs. 3200 in every semester and SC/ST students gave to pay rs. 750 in each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

No they are not providing scholarship. But government of Bihar has provided a loan facility to the needy students, so that they can complete their graduation without any tension.One have to fill the form online and then have to be present for verification.

Campus Life

There are laboratories for machine, basic electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, environmental science. There are two drawing rooms for engineering graphics. There are labs for digital and analog circuits. There are lab for fluid mechanics also. The college is celebrating sports day every year.

Hostel Facilities

No, I manage to do classes from my home. But yes, if some one want then they can get hostel. Yes, folding and infrastructure are good. Students are provided free Wi fi. Healthy foods are served to them. They get one time snacks, lunch and dinner.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

As we are the first batch. We don't have any seniors in our college. We are the senoir.We are very lucky that we got a ragging free campus. As now we are seniors but we are very friendly with our juniors and always tries to help our juniors regarding exams or any other activities.

Admission

I got admission after qualifying BCECE exam i.e a state government exam for getting an engineering college.The exam consist of two phase 1.Prelims 2. Mains One have to qualify prelims for getting an opportunity to seat in mains exam.After that merit list is issued on its official website.

Faculty

There are good.They are well qualified and well mannered.The faculty are appointed by Principal after interviews. Those who are m.tech qualified and are bpsc qualified are able to be appointed as permanent faculty

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Well placed college

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Yes It was my fault that I haven't studied well for the exams. We gave JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs. But I had only 92%ile in JEE Mains so I didn't get any college anywhere else. I am from Bihar so I got admission here. And Yes I got CSE here so I took this. bce patna review

i did apply to bhagalpur engineering of college , i got confirmed admission in every college except mujaffarpur and bhagalpur engineering of college in bihar engineering university . yes i got rejected in two college mentioned earlier ,my jee main score was not enought to get into cse . there is ugeac councelling schedulled for admission in college which are affiliated to bihar enginnering university.you can get through jee mains or bcece exam . jee mains is more preffered . the cutoff for cse branch in bce patna is above 90 percentile . there is two round councelling .their dates are updated on ugeac website ....Read More
