Everything is positive about our college no negativity out there you can't be in awe of Mother Nature.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 2 sessional exams and 1 final exam in a span of fewer than 6 months, and there are seven subjects which we have to pass in this time period known as one semester.

Placements are much rare cuz all students are not that much eligible for the placements.

College Events

There are many events such as twask which is the annual function of our college, many games are organized which are much different than any other like slow bike race which is the best one . And many cultural activities. Chakraview is the sports meet every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides plenty of scholarship programs but most of them are for reserved categories and girls as girls have to give half of the fees. And little for the scholar ones If you can't be in awe of Mother Nature.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, our seniors are very much helpful, I got all books and notes from them. This saves a lot of money and also they guide us like a good companion.

Admission

I got admission by clearing the entrance exam named HPCET. I scored 50 marks and the cut-off was 45 so I am pursuing mechanical engineering in this college of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.

Our college faculty is quite average as of all colleges. They give their 100 percent as every teacher does.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

There are many ways to get admission the first step to get admission in our university is to give an entrance or through jee main percentile .
