Positive feedback for collegeThere are lot of schorlship program for student Mainly for th Sc and St student They almost can study free . Scholarship for girls are also good there is also scholarship given to the meritorious students of college

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the course curriculum is very good and helpful for a student to become good engineer in future . Exam structure is totally base on the 12th science which consists 50 questions of Maths, 50 questions of Physics and 50 of chemistry

Placement Experience

Yes J.n.g.ec provide placement mainly for the branches of mechanical engineering and textile engineering i don't think there is internship in our college because currently i am in the 1st year and i don't know about Internship of college

College Events

Twask- a very huge and the most famous event occurs every year .It is 2-3 days program which is celebrated with very great enthusiasm Chakravyuh- It is a sports events occur every year And almost every student take place

Fess structure is not very almost 80k per year it is not veey huge amount . anyone can afford so i thik it is not a big amount nad anyone can pay . 40 thousands per Month and hostel fee is different

First of all give the entrance exam then counseling of Himachal Pradesh technical University in baru, in fist counseling i did not get any seat but in next counseling . i choose civil engineering I think civil engineering has very good scope in future

I think it is avery good college in Himachal Pradesh . It is situated in the top of Sunder Nagar distt mandi therefore provide a pleasant atmosphere for students to study Faculty of college is very friendly and well educated

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

I took civil because is good and all teachers are on there post and are very good. Civil engineering plays very important role in construction of buildings and dams etc. Exams are mostly held in September November and December for odd sem and for Even sem it is feb April and may.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
