Entrance Preview

For getting this college one has to appear for the entrance exam taken by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in May or June commonly known as CET ie common Entrance Test.

Internships Opportunities

Each and every company provides different stipends and have different criteria. HCL, Maruti Suzuki ,India Limited, Indraprastha Gas Limited, Honda, Godrej, Tata AIG, Insogain, Infosys, Microsoft and many more. However most of the students got placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible.Since it is a government engineering college fee is 35000/year .Which is less than most of the other engineering colleges .Apart from fee those living outside got a room easily in the range of two to three thousand making there total expenses to atmost 6 thousands to 7 thousands.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are provided by different banks and scholarship is also provided by university butvgot loan one has to approach the bank by its own.

Alumni/Alumna

Mostly college staff and teachers are helping. At my time seniors are helping in nature. However hope that seniors are helping and help you in the studies and guiding you a right path.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is three tired. Two sessionals and one external sessionals internal for 25 marks End term for 75 marks. Practical exam Internal 40 marks External 60 marks.

Some of the faculty member of the college are awesome but others are not but as at that moment of time more permanent faculty members are added which are good.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
