Overall IIT Roorkee provides best future to their students.

It is based on my program of electronics and communication engineering. It is definitely relevant to my program means whole 4 years program was described by our HR in our orientation program. Some courses are also research driven and I think each course whichever I'm taking part of this program is quite fair to bring huge reward for my engineering career.

No I haven't availed any intern yet. I'm a first year student. But according to last year data told to me in my orientation program, more than 96% students were placed in so many companies. Yes, they are some steps taken by department's HRs to prepare their students for the placement season. Companies like Google microsoft, intel. They recruit students on so many criterias such as their cgpa, based on their academic excellence during four years, on some types of exams taken by them, interviews.

There are so many technical, cultural, management events are organised every year in IIT Roorkee. Thomso is one of them. It is a very big cultural events organised in IIT Roorkee. So many events and shows of celebrities are the main attraction of this event. Some technical events like shrishti are also organised by IIT Roorkee. Cognizance is one of the management fest.

Total program fee is around 2,80,000 INR. They accept online as well as offline modes like draft, card payments e-wallets payment. Yes there is an extra charge to take admission in IITs. Yes, college provides us transparency in the fee breakdown. They break down fees as tution fees, admission fees, hostel and mess fees, some extra charges for living there in hostel to avail higher quality standards.

No, I don't think college offer us such scholarship opportunities but there is one thing a student from a poor family can get their tution fees back after providing documents to the college for their annual family income less than 500000 INR.

5:1 around is the gender ratio So many events are organised for IIT students. In those events different types of workshops are set, so that students can participate in them and improve their skills in their area of interest. There is no discrimination followed in our college on basis of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Students from foreign countries also study in IIT Roorkee. All religions are equally respected here.

Yes, I opted for hostels. Two students in one room for first year batches are provided. 10000 INR around is the annual rentals. There are so many hostels in our IIT Roorkee campus. There is enough space for more than 8000 people in our campus.

Yes, interactions with alumni network and senior students are so much helpful in starting your life in IITs. They will provide you better environment in getting comfortable in first year of college and suggest you the best to start your IIT life.

I got into IIT Roorkee by giving jee advanced exam last year. Jee advanced is conducted in india every year during the month of May or June. On the basis of qualifying exams we get different types of branches in IITs. You have to collect all the documents that is asked during the admission process conducted by respective IITs.

We can easily assess the faculty of our college just by going to their offices in their respective departments and can also contact with them through Gmail and during lectures, before and after lectures. It is so easy to connect with them. All IIT professors are PhD degree holders and they have great experience in their respective subjects. Clarity about the subject is their main goal. They also have some industrial and research experience.
