College has been very supportive in major things such as placement. Only thing that I felt required was industry relevant courses as courses under mumbai university were outdated now that the college has become autonomous they can take steps that will ensure future students career

There are a lot of experienced teachers however the teaching method is not research driven. It is decided as per mumbai university however a year back Thakur college has become autonomous college so they must not include industry relevant and specific course

I got placed through my college my college has an excellent placement record. Many big companies come for placement including IT giants. They are mainly 4 rounds aptitude GD technical round and HR round. Average placement is around 50% to 60%

We have inter college and intra college festivals. Inter college festival is taraangan and intra college is tarkash. Apart form this we have annual day fest too which is called trishna held every year. Many college students participate in tarangam and we have a grand celebration for 3 days

We had to pay fees in two installments in a year. The fees was comparatively higher that other colleges offering same course ome major reason being infrastructure and we had AC classrooms. The college has currently taken fees payment totally online and with newer means of transfer

No I did not opt for any loans as fees was sponsored by my parents however loan facilities are available

The gender ratio was 2:1, there were many boys common reason being technical course we had a big cricket and football ground however people from my courses were not very keen in extra curricular activities raher they would be generally in library readying and studying

No I did not opt for hostel as the college is in mumbai and I'm in mumbai so I didn't feel the need for it for obvious reasons. However for people coming from outside there were a few pigs around the college at a reasonable price

We have a alumni network but it is not very active. However when we were in college we used to interact a lot with our seniors they were helpful during festivals and also during exam times by letting us know the gravity of viva of each subject so that we are well prepared.

Got admissions through state controlled process according to merit list. There were total 3 merit lists and need to secure seats upon declaration of list. I opted for this course because it was second best after engineering. Thakur is a very well know college I'm suburbs

There are a many young yet experienced teachers. However these teachers lack industry experience. There are mainly assistant professors and some have also done PHD like the HOD. There was a certification course too held by a faculty who was then working at a company
