life at IITs

Overall I am enjoying my journey in the college.

The exam structure is very simple there are two exam per semester named as mid term and end term which have 50% and another 50% weightage respectively and also the praticals and the assignment given all the semester also counts in CGPA. college is helpfull for research based and this is affordable for student of any economy class.

Internships happens in 3 year for a b. tech. student and pre-final for a m. tech. student. there are plenty of big companies like samsung, google, microsoft, hindustan lewer, zomato etc. which takes part in on campus internships and as well as in On campus placement.

Our colleges gives us every opportunity to show our talent by organising different different types of cultural, social, educational and sport related events every year. like we host one of the biggest cultural fest of Asia at the university level in which we witness more than 10000 footfalls.

Fee structure is a bit expensive for a middle class at the time of start of the semester but there are many types by which most of your fee is reimbursed like they provide free messing for SC/ST student and fee waiver to OBC/general which given half, full or two third on the basis of their family income.

The college offers a plenty of scholarships to the students on the basis of rank, CGPA, family income and cast. and student loan also available at 0%interest rate.

Campus life in our college is very beautiful it has its own struggles and own satisfaction and all of it together makes it a perfect journey. Gender ratio in our college is 2:5 which is improving now. there are lots of events organised by college to improve our extracurricular activities.

Alumni network of college is very strong and they are very helpful throughout the campus life some of them are inspiration and some them provide help in the time of internships by referring us to their companies.

I choose civil because I love it. because it is the best college for civil engineering in the world and is the first of its kind in Asia. I have a keen interest in structures around us. so to learn more about I choose it. for the admission in college you to clear two step of entrance exam first one is JEE Main which 90 question of 4 marks each (30 of per sub. phy. chem. math. ) and then JEE Advance format of which varies every year.

The lecturers are the well qualified and experienced faculty. and they hold certificate from most valuable institutes in the world. there are the 4 lectures per week for a 4 credits subjects, 3 lectures per for a 3 credits subject and 2 lectures per week for a 2 credits sub.
