Remarks
Overall if you neglect the administration, the college is a kingdom of heaven.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not research oriented, but fir sure it helped me become a good engineer. The teachers are great at what they teach. More importantly, the alumni and seniors are good and they constantly guide us. And yes there are a lot of industrial visits round the year. There are a lot of sessions and classes organised to help with in campus placements.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of companies that came to our campus for placements. They are: Amazon, Accenture, tera data mu sigma, udchalo, fig md, persistent systems etc. Almost more than 90% of people get Placements. The companies come in regular intervals and a fair chance is given to all students. Yes the TPO managed classes for students on various topics and organized a lot of talks round the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is around 3.3L per annum. It's pretty expensive and unreasonable. Yes the college provide transparency, but it's not reasonable. The fees has to be paid in full either through net banking or cheque or demand draft. The fees is hecting and so is the fine imposted. Really a big headache.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the scholarships provided are merit based. If you get a top position, you'll be eligible for a scholarship.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is bad. It's also six to one. Really a very frustrating thing. The extracurricular activities are nice there are various Comoetions as well. Robotics competition is held once a year. Other sports activities are also organized.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees is included in the fees. It's a really nice place to live. There are three types of rooms.Really loved the place. All the facilities are top notch. It's a home away from home
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors help a lot. They guide us. They teach us. They mentor us. They tell us what to do. Same goes with the alumni as well. They come for a talk.
Admission
The admission is done on the basis of JEE MAINS rank. But more importantly, only those students can apply whose either of the parents work for the Indian Army. The steps are: Fill the JEE MAINS form Fill AIT admission form on AIT website Give JEE Mains. Wait for AIT merit list based on JEE marks. Book a seat online at AIT website. Admission will take place in the first week of July and form for AIT can be filled from August to December of the proceeding year.
Faculty
There are a total of 40 hours of lectures a week. The teachers are all above 40 years. Two three of them are PHDs. Rest are non-PHDs. Teachers are extremely capable of holding a class and clearing the doubts. A few of the teachers have worked in the industry so they share their experoces.
