Remarks

CIC is busy and fast moving. Unlike most other colleges, where in you would have a fixed schedule for your day and a planned return to your home, CIC will keep surprising you each day. This will end up being your journey towards self exploration, but only if you make the most of everything it has to offer.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As far as the Course Curriculum is concerned, I want to assure that our Institute has most relevant and industry driven Course in the whole country. DUCIC offers one of it's kind multidisciplinary Course which allows us an opportunity to study in most reputed Colleges of University of Delhi semester wise according to our choice of specialization and also keeping keen focus on research driven Social intervention projects and Internships with the most reputed organizations of both public and private Sector.

Placement Experience

4

As CIC DU is the first Government of India funded Institute in our Country to introduce Innovation as credit based Course thus it fosters the ecosystem of Innovation and startups as it's Core values. We have a major startup Incubation system in DU north Campus known as DIC ( Design Innovation Center) for promoting startups and Social entrepreneurs with proper funding. There is also a student managed Industry outreach cell helping students in Proper opportunities for placement and Internships. as internships are particularly encouraged and is even compulsory for students of 2nd year onwards.

College Events

4.5

There are many clubs and societies in which students can enroll by appearing for group discussion and personal interview. From Film society, cultural and music to robotics, technocrats all facility are available. Tech and sports festival is organised every semester and one major inter colleges fest is orgranised every year fetching thousands of students from everywhere and investments. Quite calm and discipline environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Here comes the best part. Our fee sturucture are very very feasible. Only 5K per semester fees are here for each student, fee stucture are not divided according to category wise like general, obc, sc, st. Means for all caste have pay same fee amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont think that at the fees of 10000 per year one should need to apply for scholarship test or any loan requirmnt. but as for special offers on laptops they can give you bonafied certificate so you can get the things in less.

Admission

I was quite Fascinated by the intresting Course structure and Legacy as well as the basic word of mouth promotion of this institute. I was always keen to take admission in my favourite humanities and Social Sciences wing for my higher education and so I filled out the for DU CIC entrance exam and eventually got selected.

Faculty

4.5

As the total of only 40 students each are selected for the course of B. A (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences and B. Tech (IT & Mathematical Innovation ) from all over India through its admission test, So the amount of Faculty and students interaction is also fabulous. we have one of the brightest minds in their respective fields as our mentors. we have tentatively 10 - 15 faculty members with the vast array of knowledge. most of them have been part of reputed Institution such as IIMs, IITs, DU, JNU and also not to forget major foreign Universities too, having most industry led experience with major Certifications.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
