Remarks
It was affordable and the environment is very good. It is situated in Bhimtal city which is in Uttarakhand state. There is a lake near the college. It is a cold place and I love it. There are many fascinating places around Bhimtal. It is also a tourist area. From Bhimtal you can also go to Nainital city which is a very beautiful place surrounded by a lake and mountains. In winters snowfall occurs at Nainital city.
Course Curriculum Overview
There used to be an industrial visit which takes place for the third-year students. Now the course has changed and industrial visit and internships are mandatory every year. Some faculty members are very good and some are ok. Some of the good ones include Mr Alok Sharma, Mr Anil Chaurasia, Mr Anoop Raghuvanshi, Mr Devendra Mishra.
Placement Experience
Many companies come like NCR, Cognizant, etc. Usually, they take three rounds firstly aptitude test, secondly coding test and finally interview consisting of HR and TR rounds. The alumni networking is ok.
College Events
The campus life is very good. Many events are held from time to time like an open mic, Bollywood quiz, sports events like volleyball, cricket, football, badminton and table tennis competitions. There is an annual festival known as Spectrum. It takes place for three days in which technical and cultural events take place.
Campus Life
There is a badminton court, a common hall where there are carrom boards and table tennis tables for students to play them whenever they want after the study hours. There is also flat ground for cricket and football players which is a very good thing as the college is in the mountains. The library is good you can issue books to study. You can read new magazines and newspapers also from the library. The wi-fi is very good, you get per day limit but sometimes the wi-fi doesn't work. The labs are also good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are pretty decent. The washrooms are good and water is available 24*7. Drinking water comes from RO. The hostels and washrooms are cleaned from time to time by workers. The rooms are shared by other students. Any student can get the hostel rooms, he/she can also rent rooms outside the college and become a day scholar. The hotel fee is included in the tuition fee.
