There were many factors which supported my choice. Like few of the major one was it's nirf ranking, placement percentage, companies visiting for campus placement and internship and it's alumni network. Several other factors were responsible like it's Hostel facilities, ragging free environment, Sports facilities and learning resources like Digital library.

Regarding course curriculum, since it's regularly revised and updated as per the syllabus of exams like GATE and ESE, it's very helpful for students of core branches. Coming to academics, it's again a very student friendly and follows AICTE guidelines and norms. So overall, academic rules and regulations are all quiet well. Regarding faculties, There are highly qualified and experienced faculties, all having done PHD from different prestigious colleges like IITs and NITs and few from foreign university as well. Few of highly experienced professor who is exceptional at teaching,that i would like to mention is :- Wasim Arif sir, Kaushik Guha sir, shantanu roy sir, Taimur khan sir, Bijan nath sir and counts goes on.

Placement and job opportunity is again exceptionally good, Many Big and highest paying companies like Arcesium, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, SAP, Goibibo,samsung, Nokia, etc visits every year for placement and internship offers. Many Big PSUs like, BHEL, IOCL, ONGC, HPCL,NTPC, powergrid also recruits from core branches. Apart from these, many IT and software companies like wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM,oracle,HCL, hp, jio, airtel, idea etc recruits every year in large numbers. It has a very excellent and dynamic alumni network, which again helps in placement and internship a lot.

My Campus life so far has been one of the cherishable experiences. I have enjoyed every day of the journey to the fullest and can say that it's the best, full of ups and downs, refreshment and challenges. The college organises several events throughout the year with two major Headlining events, annual technical fest Tecnoesis and cultural fest Incandescence. The technical fest " Tecnoesis " Brings a huge no of events and competition with a huge no. of participants across and beyond the college.coding competitions like Hackathon, nibble are conducted online and brings huge participants. Robotics competition like sumo wars, robowar etc excited huge participants and audience as well.competition like smart city exhibition, Bech ke dikhao, who would be next CEO, IPL auction various quizzes are organised. Closing event called spark night is a cultural night which brings big fame from Bollywood. Annual cultural event "Incandescence" Is also one of the flagship cultural events of college which helds various cultural events and seminar by many big techie and renowned alumni. Competition like indie lake(a music competition), NITs MUN, cultural events like comedy night, kavi-sammelan, ramp walk etc. are held. Many Bollywood fame singers and renowned archestra team comes for live performances .

My college has an average class of infrastructure, neither too modern nor too primitive. Some Building, classrooms, hostels are old, but some are built new and equipped with all latest technologies and facilities. Like my college has Asia's biggest library named as "Dr. APJ Abdul kalam learning and resource center". It has huge collection of Books, journals, research papers etc. , study space, wifi, online learning resources etc. College also has a separate ground and kits an for all the sports like cricket, Basketball, volleyball, lawn Tennis, football. It also has a Badminton court, several table tennis boards in each hostels and many more! Coming to lab infrastructures, most of the equipments and apparatus are latest and updated, and sufficient in numbers. College also has a huge auditorium for conducting several events, and mass seminars.

Hostel facility is exceptionally good. Many hostels are newly build and equipped with all required facility. It has a conference room, one common study room, a sports related activities room, TV, watercolor at each floor ,water geyser in achi bathroom. It has 24*7 power supply, and high speed internet connectivity lan port in each room . Usually most of the hostels has double bed rooms, each having, separate bed, study table ,wardrobe separate for both. The hostel also has mess and a canteen which serves exceptionally good.
