I chose this university since I wanted to get into the theatre society of this university. I chose Delhi University in general since it was in Delhi itself and is much more affordable than private universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you get good professors then you’re likely to love your course. The class sizes are pretty big so you’re probably not going to get that much individual attention. The Economics and English department of Kirori Mal is supposed to be good.
Placement Experience
I’m only in my first year and my main focus is theatre not corporate or any other job so I might not be the person to answer this however I have seen many fests being organised in my college by various societies where in multiple companies have come to the college.
College Events
It’s great. If du is where you choose to come then I’d highly HIGHLY recommend joining a society- an extra curricular society. Be it theatre, debating, dance whatever. College life becomes much more interesting if you’re in a society. It helps in making friends and contacts as well.
Campus Life
It’s good but it can obviously be improved. My college doesn’t have a girls hostel. There is a pretty big football field and a few rooms where the ecas (theatre, dance, singing etc) practice. They have a gym as well.
