Remarks

Its in the top 5 medical colleges of the country. Best college Based on Rank. General quota. Modern technology. Lots of stuff to learn. This is recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Malaysian Medical Council.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Very good. KMC is the best private college in India. The infrastructure, facilities, faculty and the patient exposure you get is almost a dream. There is a lot of scope for research and the faculties are extremely supportive. There is no compromise on education. Don't let go of this opportunity unless the fee is a major issue or you are extremely bent upon studying in a government college.

Placement Experience

5

Well some of the best doctors of the country are in the college as faculties and doctors. Also many eminent doctors have graduated from this college. Both, the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the college are among the best in the country.

College Events

5

Fests. Lots of activities by different clubs conduct different activities like sports, literature, cultural, etc. Other than academics, there are a lot of co curricular activities that you could take part in. There are a lot of beautiful places around, beaches, ghats. Studying here is a wholesome experience, with both academic focus and the amount of fun you'd expect to have in college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Freeship for NEET ranks AIR 2000 and under. Scholarship for ranks AIR 2000 to 5000. That's the only criteria. Then there are scholarship within the program like getting more than 75% in university exams can get you some fees exemption.

Campus Life

5

Wifi available almost every where. State of the art labs. Anatomy museum. State of the art library. Very Big sports complex. Largest anatomy lab in india. 3700 bedded multi speciality hospital. Research facilities.

Hostel Facilities

5

Ac hastel. Proper cleaning. Understandable curfews. Nice caretakers. Safe. Strictly against drugs. Very cooperative neighbours. Clean washrooms. Adequate ventilation. Less ragging. Overall a quite good, peaceful hostel life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
