Rhea Bali's Review On Kamala Nehru College - [KNC], New Delhi

The college is located in a beautiful area, it feels safe and most importantly I got the course I wanted which was BA Political Science Honours. Also, the college has great societies so that makes college more fun.

I think that the KNC Political Science department is amazing. I always thought that since its college I will be making my own notes and teachers would not care as long as they had taught but after coming to KNC I realised I was wrong. My teachers are ready to help all the time. You can have 100 doubts and they will clear it all off course since I am just a 1st year student I cannot say much but at least my 1st year teachers were really helpful and caring. I am so grateful to Ma'am Ambar Ahmad, Sir Harsh Meena, Sir Mangal Deo Singh. Now, about the course honestly in the beginning I took sociology Honours and I did not enjoy it. It is a great subject and many love it and enjoy it but it was just not my subject although in school I really did well in it when I shifted to Political Science I liked it way better and was happier.

I think the college placement cell is active and they do work hard to have programmes through which various companies come to the college and we can try applying for the internship. They also help with preparing C.V in case we need help so I think they are doing a great job.

Honestly, I have no comments on this as I could not attend much due to Covid19. But whatever events I got to attend were well organized and had a good number of people to attend. My college hosts a Diwali Mela during Oct, Nov every year and a college fest during March April every year.

Honestly, the library and the labs are amazing but our wifi connection sucks I think we need better connections and as far as sports facilities are concerned we have a basketball court and a football, cricket field. Our college is not as big as many DU colleges but I think we have a good Auditorium and the Chaupal does give u a homely feeling.
