Remarks
I couldn't get admission to the college of my choice, so this was the next best option for me. This college is also near my home so saves time travelling. Also, I have heard that the chemistry dept is good here and as I want to do a BSc in chemistry, I thought this might be good. The infrastructure of the college is also great.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite repetitive to our 12th portion. Some teachers seem not updated with their teaching methods and some are not even able to answer doubts in the class. Some teachers are really exceptional, they know how to teach and make the class interesting. The chemistry dept and life sciences dept are really enthusiastic here for students to learn the more practical application of what we study.
Placement Experience
I'm a first year student so have no idea. Our college does have a really great entrepreneur cell. It holds talks with eminent entrepreneurs and also with alumni who have achieved greatness in the field of business. It also holds an event wherein they encourage students to come up with their start up ideas and many such skill oriented events. It's a very active cell of our college.
College Events
The campus life is really amazing. Apart from learning sciences, you get to know people from different fields of study and life, even work with them. Our college is actually known for tests. Every month there is some of the other fest going on organised by various clubs and association in our college. The main events are SHOUT, KANI, ARTHANOMICS, which are some of the biggest events but there are more that are equally important. These events are well managed by the core teams of respective clubs.
Campus Life
It's well maintained and state of the art facilities. The new building has really nice infrastructure, it has projectors in each class, security camera in each class, the classes air perfectly ventilated and the toilets are always kept clean.
