Remarks

I was there at the college for two years and it is a very well known institution in Mumbai and other than that it is an autonomous college and seeking admission in an autonomous college is very helpful after your degree so I opt for this college.

The faculty is very good and it goes with the university syllabus and it helps you to opt for different courses it has discussion club and the professors are very helpful and there an industrial visit in which the students learn something new.

It provides various opportunities to all the students either for job or placements and the entrepreneur cell is very large there are various events for start-ups and it has a good placement department and is very helpful for the students.

College Events

This college has the highest number of fests and events rather than other colleges in Mumbai and it gives the opportunity to everyone to be part of the event The teaching staff and non teaching staff are included in the events and they help students to manage all these events.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
