The main factors which drove me to take admission in this college was it's ranking. The next was it's placement percentage of CSE and ECE which was 90% + since last 2-3 years. The next factor was the no. Of company visiting the college and it's allumuni network which was Good! Apart from these, factors like it's infrastructure, Hostel facility, weather, Library facility, Technical events being organised in college every year also encouraged me to join this college.

Course curriculum is regularly revised according to the need of companies, and competitive exams like GATE and ESE. The academic rules and regulations are also student friendly and focussed.we are regularly given opportunity to attend various seminars organised by industrial and training executive under TEQP III. Faculty team is mixture of both Young , newly joined as well as Highly experienced faculties. Mostly they hold PHD from different IITs and NITs and other reputed university of India and abroad. Faculties like Wasim Arif, prof. Faisal A. Talukdar, shantanu roy, Taimur Khan, Kaushik Guha are Highly experienced and exceptional in teaching.

Placement is average, many big companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Amazon, Arcesium, Goibibo visits for campus placement and internships. Many PSUs like Indian oil, NTPC, ONGC, powegrid, Hindustan petroleum vistits colleges for placement of core Branches. Many well known IT and software companies like Relaince, TCS, infosys, IBM, wipro, idea, jio, HCL, etc also visits and employ a good no. Of students.

Till now, I'm satisfied with my campus life. The college organise two major event in a year, each in odd and even semester. It organise Technical event named Techniche. It's a 4 day event, in which different technical events like coding competition like Hackathon , nibble , robotics competition like sumo wars, robo wars, Terrain traders, etc are organised. Competition focussing on enhancement of entrepreneurship skills like Bech ke dikhao, what if u were the CEO, crack the job , Business quizzes etc are organised. A cultural event named spark night is also organised in the last day of Techniche marking the end of Technical event. In summer semester( jan -may) annual cultural event called Incandescence is organised, which features various different cultural events. It's also a four days event, which features events like confrenza in which renowned allumuni and experienced Tech expert interract and share tips with students. Event like indie lake is a singing competition in which singers from different college participates. Cultural evening also features some of the renowned singers, poets, Rock Band teams from Bollywood, comedians, mister and misses Assam, and various different events. Apart from them, many online competition are held, which brings a huge no of participants from different colleges of Assam and few other state.

Infrastructure is on average side. College is having both indoor and outdoor sports facility. There are separate grounds for cricket, volleyball, football, Lawn Tennis, Basketball And 3 Badminton courts. Wi-Fi and LAN port for internet is available in all hostel with relatively good speed ( sufficient for streaming YouTube,internet surfing and Downloading. My college owns Asia's Largest Digital Library equipped with Huge collection of Books, journals, research papers, and modern furnitures. Lab is also equipped with updated and latest equipment and systems.

Hostel infrastructure is on average. Usually two students share a single room equipped with separate bed, Study table, separate lan port, separate wardrobe and two fans and two tubelight. Hostel has mess facility in same building, and water cooler on each floor. Hostel has continuous 24*7 supply of electricity and clean water. Bathrooms are also cleaned everyday. It also has water geyser in each bathroom.
