Remarks

This is the college known for its science courses. It has an amazing environment encouraging students to take part in various activities and enhance our reach to maximum people. I opted for the course because I had an interest in physics and mathematics.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty good. We have 7 subjects. In each subject, we have 3 to 4 modules. Each model covers a different aspect of the subject. We have an amazing facility at the college. We have a course on data analytics in the 2nd year according to me which is one of the best course in the college.

Placement Experience

The placement is pretty nice. We have a great alumni networking who guide us whenever we are stuck up. They usually come to college and train us to enhance our skills and also focus on the environment outside our college.

We have a diverse environment. The Festival environment at Jai hind college is appreciable. There are festivals which not only enhance students skills but also make the students enjoy their college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
