Ya we were updated about syllabus of all subjects,we are provided with a good library from where textbooks of all subjects are available.faculties also provide notes to us.Notes were strictly based on the syllabus

Each department has got their technical fests.students from outside can participate.They ll be given a participation certificate and if they got positioned in 1st 2nd or 3rd,they have credit points as well as certificates.Our cultural fest is named as Advay which happens every year mostly on the month of february,during that we conduct so much of events like fashion show,music band competitions etc.

Campus Life

Our college has got a good infrastructure,like we have a sports ground,they provide free wifi to the students.labs with proper instruments are ensured for all the departments.Moreover we are having a good library,each department has their own library.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
