Remarks

I choose this university because of its variety and the fact that it is a government college and hence they try to be as close to the norms of government assistance as possible. Mumbai university is one of the oldest universities in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well structured and in brief. There are many modifications that are currently happening and they are making things easier for us. Maths professors like Vijay Sir and Pranil sir are some of the best teachers ever.

Placement Experience

Being an undergraduate, usually, students do not take in placements at college. But yeah there are many opportunities and students get fascinated by them and take in advices from our professors and build in their strong resumes.

College Events

We have a discussion club in our college which is pretty interesting as there are a lot of activities involved which keep the student engaged. Pranil sir is one of the teachers who heads the discussion club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Honest college review of Jai Hind College

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
