Remarks
The faculty for my course was good and the societies and co curricular activities are also very good. Also I was recommended this college by my school teacher. The location is also good for outstation students because the area has lot of PGs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is supportive and some of them are excellent in their fields, especially the senior teachers. As far as the exposure is considered I didn't get much to experience it because of my other priorities. Obviously it is less than other good colleges like Stephens and Hindu but it's not bad.
Placement Experience
No idea. It has a separate society as Placement cell which I have no idea of. However when an outsider as me notices the working of this cell they try to compete with other colleges but they have a long way to cover.
College Events
The college is very politically active. For some students it might be very disturbing because they have problems attending classes but for me it served as a platform to solve practical problems. Fests of certain societies like NCC are grand and are carried on a national level including media coverage. Cultural events are also amazing.
Campus Life
The infrastructure, honestly is very poor from canteen to classes and labs too. Teams of particular sports like boys basketball is one of the best of the university but other sports like hockey are not much active as far as I noticed (though they should be).
Hostel Facilities
It has only boys' hostel. I have opted for a girls pg nearby. It has a monthly rent of 14500 excluding electricity but there are many cheap PGs too. As far as the hostel is considered I have no idea about it but the life of it from outside seems amazing. Hostels have always been better than PGs.
