Remarks
This college holds an esteemed position in the Delhi University. Many people told me that doing graduation in economics from here is good option because of the alumni and also the teaching faculty is really wonderful.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since it's a traditional course, so it's taught in that way only. Our course was updated the same year we got admission (2019). Since I'm in first year, we don't get much industrial exposure, but I've seem my seniors (3yrs) going for these kind of exposures. Apart from that, if I talk about the faculty, it's one of the finest of Delhi University colleges. They're experienced degree holders from finest colleges of DU and are very helpful, like I've never heard a 'no' from them for anything.
Placement Experience
I don't know much, but Entrepreneurship cell was started in the year of my admission. But there are Avenues (placement cell), Finance and Investment cell, Enactus. I think there were startups up some students, one was by the founder of entrepreneur cell.
College Events
I didn't get to go to college much because first, I was a late admission and second, semester 2 was quite a joke due to duta strike, north-east Delhi riots and covid19. My life kinda suck in starting, but then it all felt good. We didn't get to attend the fests of other colleges but we attended our college's departments annual fests, which was good. We're waiting for our annual college fest which was after the midsem break, but then there was lockdown.
Campus Life
It's quite small when compared to other colleges of North campus, but it has a sports complex, basketball court, badminton and volleyball court, not so big ground, good library, no wifi but your signals will be good (I mean it has a wifi but for staff, students usually hack it), don't no about the labs but my friends from other courses says they're pretty good and well equipped.
