Remarks

I wanted coe, which I got here. Also, Thapar had a good reputation at that time. Thapar is my state and close to my city Thapar always a reputed college among people. Also, my friends were aspiring here and mark got me Coe here which is my priority over other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

At last placement matters but curriculum and placement study is different. Academics are like we have quizzes even of 5 marks. Neither we can study nor leave. Even after submitting an assignment, we have to give more tests.

Placements are decreasing day by day as no of students are increasing so the probability decreases to get a good job Internship cut is firstly based on CG which we get from the college semester. Internships come for 2 and year students

College Events

Campus life changes year by year. Events are good but some are paid. Some have a crowd. Extracurricular activities are in the form of societies. Events otherwise are good. Also due to hostel timings, there are no problems

Campus Life

The wifi is weak sometimes, slows down when many people operate at a time. Sports facilities are good. The library has enough space. The library has a very less amount of books by any author. Equipment is here as needed

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
