Remarks

I choose this college because i have my coaching classes generally in morning so the main advantage was this college had evening batch also so this is a reason. Other than this the college is near to my coaching so it was my second reason. And as per my percentage this was only evening college i was getting which was near north campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course, Curriculum, Academics and Faculty of college is quite good. Especially Dr. Sapna ma'am makes the class environment very friendly and comfortable zone where students enjoy side by side learn also. Academics of the college is quite good and we have well qualified teachers in our faculty.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 7980 per year

Placement Experience

Generally students go for master and further studies after getting BA degree. Our placement cell is not very good it hardly places anyone from the college, internships we get are mostly unpaid so students generally prefer doing internship out of the college or manage both internships together.

College Events

Campus life is one of the best things as we make several memories which we will cherish for all our life. We enjoy a lot in campus more than attending classes we have bunked and played games, participated in several activities like dance, music competition, debate. In DU we have a festival month and in our college we have fest in month of march mostly. Several singers are called to perform and DJs for night party of students. Several stalls are there in ground area for foods, games and more things.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is something i was worried in early days of college because there was lack of water cooler, no proper lights in class rooms, cleanliness of college. But later on as election came near every thing was maintained and we got all facilties which we demanded. Talking of library we have strenght of almost 50 students at a time in reading hall along with latest newspapers, magazines for competitive exams and course books plus story books. We have a computer lab with almost 45 systems all in working condition and connected to the printer. Wifi is still a problem in campus area.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences.
