Remarks

I Choose JD Birla because there are many projects and extracurricular activities that help to develop one's skills besides a good study environment. And I took admission in this college because the seniors have said to me that the placement from our college is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the course syllabus is very much updated in our college. I have been not provided with any industrial exposure till now. Faculties are good. They are very friendly and cooperative. Many projects are held with the presentation. we are also taken out to different colleges for quizzes etc.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are very nice at our college. Companies like PWC comes for placement. Alumni networking for job referrals is nice.No such startup by my batchmate yet. About 65%of the students get jobs in top companies, packages range from 3-6 lacs.

Yes, campus life for me is perfect. We every year have a cultural fest known as 'verve'.Celebrities are called in this fest. Beside that, we have commercio conclave. Then women day, freshers, different festivals like Saraswati puja are also conducted.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission here depends on your 12th grade and we also have a test on checking our English. Students who fail there even if he/she has good grades in 12th stands not eligible.
