Mudit's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

I chose this university because of no compulsory attendance so this will help me focusing on my further goal that is UPSC. Not only attendance was a factor. My another reason was the best coaching for UPSC. Reason behind me opting this course was i had interest in political science and my highest score was in political science (99/100).

Course, curriculum, academics and faculty are not at all appropriate. I choosed history as my generic and half semester passed but there was no teacher alloted to teach us and we were writting regular application to the History HOD. Apart from that my Political Science faculty is much far better than other as per my experience. Dr. Sapna is one of the best faculty and most inspiring for everyone is class and deals with student like her own child.

Placement and job oppurtunities are very good several companies hire students for internship either paid or unpaid and also for jobs. The highest salary for the last year was 4 lakhs and due to pandemic this year we don't have exact data.

Campus life is one of the best thing in Delhi University any college and its totally dependent on the kinds of friend you have in your group. Like in 1st year of college i attended 50 lectures out of 90 lectures. Rest 40 lectures were bunked on the name of event, fest or for watching films. Our college host fest in the month of march where famous singers, dancers, DJ are called for fun at evening. And during the day time we have different kinds of games going on, quiz, talent hunt show. For participation you can contact to any student of college and further they will forward the participant name to the respective leaders.

Talking of campus infrastructure we don't have much facilities when we joined the college and we were said that it's government college you have to adjust. But later on as election came close, everything changed. Like we didn't had water coolers, we got that and benches were broken, they were replaced by new ones. Now overall infrastructure condition are much better than earlier. Talking of library size we have capacity of 50 students in reading hall at once and with all updated course books, magazines, story books and competetive exam books. We have two wifi for students with 0.5mbps speed.

I live in PG and i pay Rs 13000 monthly which includes double sharing room with basic amenities and fooding. Electricity bills are excluded from the total rent. And the owner takes 26000 Rs as security deposit which is further adjusted in your monthly rent.
