Anonymous's Review On Sri Venkateswara College - Delhi, New Delhi

I chose this college because it's one of the best colleges of Delhi University and also because it's nearer to my residence. Furthermore I opted for this course particularly because I was bored and I needed some change, so I changed my stream from science to arts.

Arts and science faculties are very good. Most of the notable alumnis from our college are from these faculties only. The college is very much focused on the academics and the teachers take extra lectures every now and then just to make sure the students are able to grasp on the concepts that are being taught. The teachers are very concerned and considerate and sometimes go out of their ways just to help the students.

The companies that come to our college looking for students to hire are usually start-up companies. These companies usually look for students with higher experience in the work field and frequently offer marketing and Human resources profiles as far as I know.

The college is always a fest that's being organized inside the college campus. There are a plethora of societies for music, dancing, debating, NSS, quizzing, filming, creative writing etc etc. The annual college fest is the biggest attraction for the students from all the different colleges of Delhi.

There is a big library which is divided into two sections one is the reading hall and the other is the main library where all the books are available. While many of the books are obsolete and the library needs to get newer editions stocked. And the reading hall and computer labs are fully air conditioned. The computer labs are new and the technology and equipments are fresh and regularly updated. There are sports facilities available for cricket and football, while wi-fi networks are very weak and usually do not work.
