Remarks
Zakir Hussain always been the center of attraction for many people because of its geographical location. There is a bus stop just behind the campus gate, a metro station just around 400 meter from the campus and a railway station around 500 to 600 meters. Apart from the location, we love the discipline of our college, and the faculty. All the teachers are so much helpful and supportive. Because of evening shift, generally students will not like to take admission here but apart from these myths I love to be there because our teachers are so supportive and because of evening shift I get for my UPSC preparations as well.!!!
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm form BA programme and I think our sylbs are up to date. We didn't have any chapter or part of sylb which is out of date and need to change soon to diversify the exposures of students. I think the Economics department of college is one the best facility who organises the most numbers of event and career functions
Placement Experience
Every year our college organises a career mela where many companies visit our campus to offer placement to many Students. The organisations or companies not have job opportunities for science or commerce or Economics background but they offer job to the students from History or political hons type courses as well. Honestly I didn't have much knowledge how the placement cell of our college exactly works. That's why I don't want to recommend on my half knowledge. Its better if you visit our college and talk to the placement cell in charge for the factuful knowledge about it.
College Events
I never participated in any cultural event till now but yes every department gets their own funds from which they will organise their each events so well. Like the last time the Maths department of our college organized a meet with 2 UPSC aspirants who cleared and placed recently.
Campus Life
Our campus infrastructure would be counted in one of the best infrastructures that DU colleges have. Just an exception that the college didn't have their own playground or sports ground. For the practice of different sports like cricket or football we need to go to some other grounds owned by our college. Wifi is always available in the campus. The size of library is moderate. The main thing is we have seprate library's for morning ot evening shifts and we didn't get books for general completion or these type of books other than our course books.!!!
