For the betterment of my language and exposure to a new city. The college is one of the best women's colleges in South India where you get to explore a lot. There is no politics on the campus and the students can concentrate fully on academics

The course syllabus is very contemporary and we get to learn literature from south,east and west Asia and also from States like Israel, pakistan etc. Industrial is not a necessity for the course but they offered it as an optional course. Latha Ma'am from English Department is one of the best.

As part of the Teach for India program I did a rural teaching program in thirupachur. This was completely service oriented and couldn't avail for stipends.

The top companies like Google, Microsoft, Mc Kensey, world bank, Amazon, Earnest, and young, Deloitte, etc come for placements. recently I got into Ey through campus placement offered me a salary of 3.33 lakhs per annum. There a career guidance cell in the college that constantly updates the students with the interviews and internships.

There will be many inter and intra collegiate fests happening according to the elected Union. When compared to other colleges like Kerala University there is very less participation encouraged. The fame that the culture had has declined over years.

Sc/ st scholarship only and no any other scholarships.

Though being a government aided college, all the basic infrastructure facilities were needfully satisfied by the management. Free wifi is available. The library is the best compared to other colleges in Chennai. Satisfactory lab equipment.

It's really hard to get the hostel admission. As it is a women's college the security is very strong and there is restricted outgoing for students. Hostels are very approachable as well as stringent which is in a way more appropriate to maintain the decorum of the institution.
