Remarks

I choose this college because firstly its a government college hence less fees and secondly its all india rank is under 100. I'm very much interested in structures and how they built that's why I adopted civil engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is up to date. No we were not provide any industrial exposure. Faculties are average, some them are very supportive but most are not supportive at all they don't care about your problems. As i m from civil engineering i can only tell you about my department, you will be given a lots of lots of assignment, which is think just a waste if time. But now as world bank is providing funding situation is getting better.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Campus Life

I think its infrastructure is one the best in Uttarakhand. Sports facilities is not that much good even though we have two football soze ground only one is in playing conditions. There is a very less exposure in sports. No WiFi in hostels only lan connection that is only too in final year hostels. Size of library is quite good you will be able to find most of books in there. Our labs are fully equipped with latest measures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

The admission process was very nice and in an organized manner .The admission on the basis of jee mains examination that we gave and for different course the eligibility is also different the application form is available in mechanical engineering department and application process and fee submission process also held there and the application date is around 28 September 2022.
