Remarks

After my jee mains paper, I didn't score much so I was not able to get any premium Indian ent college. So I decided to give hpcet and was able to scores good. after scoring 125 marks I was able to take admission in civil engineering.From school time I want to be an engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest course syllabus in any Engg college is not up to date the same is in case of our college too. But apart from this, the facilities are very good. Industrial exposure is generally provided in 3rd or 4th year and talking with some senior I can say that extra effort has to be put on this area. industrial exposure is not enough if talking on behalf of the civil department. Faculties in general are nice. But one thing a student must keep in mind should be that in engineering colleges student have to put 80%on themselves to achieve some significant achievements. Some faculties are very very experienced in our college especially talking on civil department Professor SP Guleria has an experience of more than 30 years in teaching. Other faculties are also well experienced.

College Events

There is some tech event that is every year held in our college. Chakrivyu is such an event. In this event, a large no of tech events is arraigned. A lot of social events are arranged. And especially sports events happen in this event. There is an event named Twask that is the main event of our college. This event is celebrated every year. In this event, no of culture events happens. A lot of prizes are also distributed in this event.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

My other options were both private colleges which I've stated earlier. They both are very imfamous colleges. But also tgere is a lot of students who took admission there. I applied to all the Government colleges and all the colleges that come under hptu and choose this college because it is considered to be best for government civil engineering course and I had the option to choose any college but I choose this because it is a good college for the admission we have to give entrance test or on the basis of JEE mains so after the admission test there is merit list and the counselling and you get the admission letter that's all it's it's a very easy process you just have to score there is a lot of competition but yeah you can get admission not easily but not that tough...Read More
