Remarks

No special remarks. College life was good because of the friends I made otherwise boring

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum was basic initially covering a lot of school topics. With passing years syllabus got tougher and new topics were covered. Learning was only text book, there were projects but very theoretical presentation. We didn't have industrial trips

Placement Experience

1.5

Graduation placements were poor in the college. Almost non existent. We were dependant on personal contact for getting placed or look for general portals for student across the city. Mostly people went for next level of education after this course.

College Events

2.5

We used to have cultural and sports events for student engagement. We used to take permission from. The principal and organise it ourselves. Participation was okay but not bad, students from other colleges used to come. Gave us exposure on event planning

Fee Structure And Facilities

The university base fee was minimal but the college charged extra for its facilities. We paid 2 times more money than peers doing same course in another college. Payment mode was deposit to the bank branch of the college. They had Payment plans and scholar ships but I never availed them. Transparency was there in the breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

I never opted for such programs. I wasn't even aware about the details for such programs. They did exist but I never used them.

Campus Life

4

College life was okay. The college had cultural restrictions which controlled our clothes and parties. We were also isolated by location so there were no other colleges near by. Gender distribution was good. Religion as well. Economic status also varied. We even had a foreign exchange student.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

I didn't opt for hostel as my college didn't have it. People used to find rented apartments to stay in near by but it was a self motivated search. College did not contribute in any way towards it. They paid anywhere between 8k to 15k for it

Alumni/Alumna

No alumnus for this college were barely there l. We never had any interactions, no alumni meets nothing happened. Immediate seniors were useful in helping us with academics and general tips. Professors were in contact with alumni and sometimes helped with off campus jobs to those who asked.

Admission

After school, I was looking to get Into a premium college for bbs, however I didn't get it and then gave entrance for bbe as well as second option. My entrance results were good. I got the choice of college for this score. It was ranked one in this course. I was happy to choose it

Faculty

3

Faculty was okay, some of them were genuinely nice and good in the way they taught. They had good academic backgrounds. We had 4 lecturers per semester and half were good half were barely teaching anything. They had the knowledge just weren't interested on teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
