That was good. Management was quite supportive. There were going to help you out in terms of extra classes if you are not able to complete the syllabus within time period.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was semester wise in which 2 internal exams were conducted & one final semester exam and also there was an external practical exam in which external faculty was going to ask as per your practicals. Of course there was also industry-specific knowledge provided by faculties like properties of metal's. Ductile & brittle materials etc. Yes, Industrial visit organised at that time was Hero Moto Corp. Haridwar & many more.
Placement Experience
Placement of the college was quite moderate for mechanical students but for IT & CS students that was high. Name of the companies placement drive at that time was Acro, Badve etc. Institution was also provided classes for personal development & comm. skills improvement.
College Events
SRIJAN was celebrated at that time in which technical projects were displayed by each student & a group of students. Fresher Party was organised to welcome freshers & Farewell party was also organised for the seniors those were pass out. Navratri was also celebrated at that time. No. of participants were 100 students in which boys & girls included.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Fee structure was quite decent compared to other colleges in Dehradun. Mode the payment was bank transfer, Cash or by cheque. No any other additional fees were paid in order to secure admission. Yes Of course better transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there was scholarship or education loan facilities. For scholarship you have to fill a form & submit it in account section with supporting documents those are required. For education loan you have to visit bank for the same.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. There was nothing like discrimination between boys & girls. Gender ratios were not too much different but boys were more than girls. There was nothing like diversity & tolerance because students came from every corner like Kashmir, Nepal,Imphal & many more.Sports competition were also held & match got fixed with different college students.Debates on topics.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, Hostels room was nice. Each floor was having 2 Nos. washrooms. In room there were tables,chairs & almirah for studying & safety purposes. If room was sharing then no of table, chair & almirah was also as per no of students. If you go for PG then you have to pay 4~5k each month.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes of course they were. They suggested that how i have to manage all the things in industry & which department is better in terms of knowledge & career in future.
Admission
I got the admission through management quota. I have opted for Bachelor of technology in Mechanical because I just love automobile. Talking about institution, major pros was faculty & the location of the college because that is in rural areas by which no one easily think of left the class more often. Procedure of admission was by entrance exam i.e IIT, AIEEE & also by management quota. On the basis of entrance exam's rank you'll get the admission.
Faculty
Faculty had quite decent knowledge about the subject they were teaching & of course as per industrial applications they were teaching.Lectures time duration were 45 min. each. Daily 5 lectures & one practical at last. The average age of faculty were 42, 35,30 etc. & qualification was M.tech, Ph.D. Ph.D. Phil etc. Sandeep Sir was expertise in Mathematics he got several rewards for the same from Uttrakhand technical university Vice chancellor. Game theory was quite impressive teached by him.
