The college comes under SPPU University which is SavitrtiBai Phulle Pune University. The couse curriculum is relevant, research driven and fair. Exam Structure is theorotical as well as practical. Consists of 8 Semesters. Each semester conatins two type of exams -INSEM and ENDSEM.

The placement of the college is really outstanding. The placement of the college is considered one of the best in whole state of maharashtra. average package of AIT Pune is around 8 LPA. many internship opportuities are provided in the college especially for the third year students.
College Events
There are many events wich are celebrated in the college from time to time which are broadly classified into three types which are 1. TECHNICAL FEST 2. CULTURAL FEST 3. SPORTS FEST. These three Fests consists of events belonging to their respective field of interest.

The genter ratio is quite good. It is about 10 male: 6 female. Campus life is good. Campus is beautiful and green. many extra curricular activities are presemt. Labs are well equipped, sports facilities are sufficient. many competitions are regularly held like coding, robotics, debates, dance, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is really strong. Alumnis and seniors are really helpful. Most of the Alumnis are well placed and well settled. college seniors are helpul in every other way. they help juniors in sports as well as in academics.
Admission
By appearing in JEE Mains Exam. after clearing Jee you have to fill the online application form hich is available on AIT official website and then wait for the merit list. The students whose name will be there in the merit list will be called for councelling.
Faculty
On an avrage there are four theorotical lectures and 2 practial lectures each working day. The average age of teachers is around 35-45 and most of them have done M. TECH or PHD. Faculty is really knowledgeable and helpful. they provide good clarity of subject. The lectures do hold many relevant industry experience or certifications.
