Overall the college is very good and I would highly recommend joining Graphic Era Deemed To Be University. It gives its students a different environment with huge exposure. They truly are 'Transforming dreams into reality' as is daid in their moto.

In my opinion the courses curriculum is absolutely relevant and it is based on UGC and AICTE norms. It provides industry specific knowledge and also there is a lot of exposure given to the students in order to make them more confident and help them groom themselves. The exams are also conducted in a very fair manner.

The college conducts on campus placements and renowned companies like Adobe, Amazon, SnS design, TATA, IBM, HSBC and 200+ more. The highest package for the batch 2020 was 43.95 lakhs and second highest was 17 lakhs. 2400+ students had multiple offers. Special PDP classes are connected from 2nd year itself to prepare the students for placement drive. Although the steps followed by different companies in recruitment drive is different, the minimum criteria for participation is 7.5 GPA.

There are a lot of events occurring in the college. All the events are organised on a very large scale be it department based or common to all the department. The participation is very high and a different vibe is created in the whole campus. All the students get the opportunity to showcase the talents. Proper video is recorded in every event using drones and high quality camera. The events include fashion shows, tech fests, races and sports event, Roadies, food events, music and dance fests, theatre fests, artistic fests and many more.

The fee structure is expensive when compared to government colleges but fine when compared to other private colleges. No, there was no additional fees taken during the addmission except for transport fee, ? 3500 per annum which is extremely reasonable and allows the students to board any bus anytime.

Yes, I was given scholarship based on my 12th class result. The criteria for scholership is 75% above. Also the percentage of scholership given increase with class 12th Percentage.

The campus life in the college is very enthusiastic. The gender ratio is very balanced and also the culture is very diverse. Student from different states and even different countries study in our college. The college has well equipped labs with the latest technology. They also have a CAD lab, Tata technology 3D printing lab and other labs with very expensive softwares open to all students for free. There are event happening every other week and the competitions are very energetic with immensely creative and innovative approach.

Yes, I am a hostel. The hostel has great infrastructure and very well maintained rooms. The hostel I stay in is no less that a five star hotel. The facilities in hostels are very good including gym, tuck shop, play area, TV rooms and common kitchen. The food quality in the mess is really very nice and every thing is clean and tasty. The hotel are very secured with one guard on each floor, two female guards at the reception and 1 male guard out side the hostel gate and one male and 2 female guards at the main entry.

The college has a completely ragging free enviornment with absolutely amazing seniors. The alumni network and senior students are far from what I had imagined after having watched movies, they are really friendly, helpful and always ready to answer any of our queries and doubts. Our seniors never fail to boost our moral and uplift us. I think this responsibility of graciousness is passed on as a legacy.

I got to know about the college thorough one of the councelling websites. Later I was approached to, by one of the college addmission cell faculty members. Since I liked the college over-all I went to Dehradun to finally have a look. With the beautiful campus, great facilities and cooperative faculty I was really impressed by the college and longed to join it. We soon completed the paper work and paid the fees (half or full based on preference) and I was the a part of graphic era group of institutions. Admission process begins in around April and ends in June(with very few seats left, better to join before end of May). The new session begins in July last week.

The tentative number of lecturers in Btech CSE is 40. Even the founder president Dr. Kamal Ghanshala takes lectures so as to haval relations with all the students. The average age of the faculty is between 30-50. All the lecturers are highly qualified having done Mtech from IITs or NITs or with a PhD in their respective fields. Yes, most of the lecturers have industry experience. The lecturers are indeed specialist and highly qualified.
