College is good. Its having good study atmosphere. And also good natural landscape.

My college is under kerela technological university. In every semester we have 2 or 3 labs. These labs are able to provide industry- specific knowledge to students. The syllabus itself covers latest methods in engineering. Yes there is two industial visits ie in 3rd year and 4th year.

In each year there is 2 or more placement drive. These placement drives are usually for final year students I am not aware of the companies. some companies I heard are ulcc, cad centre etc. Institution will give training classes for placement drive.

In every year there is a tech fest, Arts fest and sports. Apart from it there is union day celebrations also. In tech fest about 500 to 1000 participation is present. so many companies are came to college during these tech fest. In every tech fest mechanical branch usually conduct auto show and bike stunting. All other branches also conduct programmes representing their streams.

I am admitted in merit seat. hence my fee is 25k for each semester so 50k for each year ie 2 lakh for 4 years of studies. There are no other fees fees to be paid for merit seats. The other seats are management and NRI seats. They having different fee structures. As my knowledge NRI having 90k for each year management seat having 75k. These fee structures some times changes.

College provide full scholorship for students who got rank under 3000 in kerala engineering entrance.

In civil department girls is twice than boys. There is two group of Nss volunteers in college. They go for camp about 1 week in every year. Last year they went to a health centre in rural calicut and they cleaned the clinic and painted it. They stayed there for 3 or 4 days and cleaned it.

I am not staying in hostel. I am day scholar. There is separate hostels for both boys and girls and faculties are taking good care of them. Hostel rooms are good size and clean. boys hostel rooms are sharing rooms. But each one of having single bed. Food is provided from hostel itself by college canteen. I dont know about rentals its between the range 5000 to 7000.

I only knew seniors that studied while I am there. They helped lot by giving their study materials.

i opt for this course because I like engineering. factors considered while choosing college :- 1. travelling time from home 2. university 3. admission procedures 4. college campus 5. studying atmosphere of college 6. Tution fee 7. quality of education through kerala engineering seat allocation I got a merit seat in my college for civil engineering so I took that chance and got admitted there. Now I am studying my final year.

In civil department there is about 20-25 lecturers. And separate staffs for labs. lecturers average age will be in the range 30. Every lecturers are having Masters degree. minimum qualifation for lecturers is masters degree. every other department is having these number of lecturers and qualification. lecturers provide very good clarity in their subjects or papers. Many of the lecturers previously worked in their respective fields.
