Remarks

The course requires a minimum of 60% in the 12th level exam, we can apply after qualifying Keam or apply for management or NRI seat We can apply for a scholarship if we have a full A+ in the 12th-level exam. But if we get any backlog the scholarship will be invalid.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love mechanical courses so I took mechanical engineering. People who are interested in engineering can opt mechanically it has great opportunities now & also in the future. The exams are tough but with a proper timetable, we can pass easily.

Placement Experience

A student is eligible for placement from the 5th Sem onwards. Everyone can participate in placement trials, and students with less backlog have more opportunities in placements. More than 60% of students in college get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are less compared to the infrastructure & the pass percentage, and the professors have well knowledge about the topic and also help us with our study. The scholarship is applicable for the college fees there will reduction in fees.

Campus Life

The annual tech fest is very well conducted by easy departments in the college. The mechanical department does the fest in accordance with the topics that we study. There are a lot of books & journals in the college library for our study & reference purposes.

Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

A brief overview of my 1 year experience in MDIT

I tried applying for mechanical engineering in KMCT engineering collage.But they told me that I had to wait for spot admission to apply but then I found out about MDIT and as soon as I called they told to come and I liked the collage and it's vibe so I decided to join MDIT and ditched my plan to join KMCT.
