PICT review

The college is good in placement, management is good but you need to keep your attendance above 80,85%

There are three courses are conducted by our college. Computer engineering, IT engineering & electronics & telecommunication engineering. Exams are conducted by Savitribai Phule pune university. College is good in industry specific knowledge which helps in placements. College conducts industrial visit. We visited FM radio station in hadapsar Pune as well as BSNL office in kothrud also nashik industrial visit also conducted.

PICT is very famous for training & placement. Even very popular company Google has visted the college for placement. College conducts time to time trainings and soft skill lectures to student. 80%-87% students being placed every year. Companies offering the packages from 3 to 36 lakhs per annum visits the college

There are many more techical & cultural events are there in college. Techbical events like Robotics, IEEE, IET, In yantra, coding & programing are conducted in PiCt. Most of certification courses also conducted on PICT. Cultural events are also there.

Fee structure is expensive while compairing with other colleges. Tuition fees in the range of 90k-95k also other fees are applicable. So you need to pay a lakhs of Rs as college fees. Fees can be accepted by Demand Draft (DD). There are no additional charges.

Yes I am applicable for the scholarship but still not get the scholarship after leaving the college for 2 yrs due to NFR isssue.

Gender ratio doesn't made more difference. Almost if there are 50boys then 35 to 40 girls in one class so is good ratio. There is all type of students hindu, muslim, sikh, jain in the college. There are many more extracurricular activities in the college such as robotics.

College hostel admission in on first come first basis. So I have not get the admission in college hostel. But the hostel is good, standard. everyday cleaning is done as well as mess facility. warden is there for you. I know all this as one of my frnd stays there. Drawback is hostel is applicable for First year & sec yr only. After third year you need to stay outside in private hostel.

Yes we have a strong alumni network. Senior students were very helpful. Alumni or seniors helps the students in placement practice.

I got the admission through common entrance exam (CET). PICT is famous for IT Computer & Electronics & technology courses. Very good placement & training cell. Admission started in July normally. Admission process is thruogh CAP round. Once you got selected in CAP round, go to college n take the admission.

There are 4 to 5 lectures and one practical is conducted everyday. Attendance is the very much necessary criteria in PICT. Most of the faculty have done their PHD, masters in engg. Some of Our college facuties have written their own books, this kind of faculties you will get in PiCT. Some lecturers have relevant industrial exp too.
