Review of Symbiosis college of arts and commerce

Everything is good in my college except the infrastructure !

There are total 6 semesters in bachelors in commers program (every hear consists of 2 semesters). The duration of bcom program is 3 years. The semesters are held on a gap of 4 months every year which also includes internals and assignments. Industrial visits and rural immersion programmes are organised for the students every year.

SCAC has the best placements in the field of commerce and finance. The college itself is known for it's on campus placements. Verious companies visit the campus for on-campus placements before the final semester exams for selection and recruitment process.

There are various event and seminars as well as webinars and also rural immersion program when students come to see the real world and understand the outside world and also to get a better insight into reality. Symagine is an event which is held per year and is organised at a great level.

The fee structure of SCAC is pretty decent and affordable. The fees charged for bcom program is 60000 in total for 3 years (20000 per year). There are additional charges if you want to pursue another specialisation and the college doesn't provides any kind of transparency in the fee breakdown.

Scholarships and education loans both are applicable in SCAC and both of them have their different methodologies. If a student is applicable for scholarship he/she needs to provide the details for scholarship and complete the paper work.

We have a decent campus not so large in size and talking about the gender ratio we have more boys and compared to the number of girls in my college. There are different labs and extracurricular activities held at different times. There is also no dicrimination amongst the students on any basis.

No, i haven't opted for the hostel as i like in a rented flat because i am a person who can't live under restrictions and secondly i personally don't like the rooms of our hostel as it's not that good. There are both double and triple sharing rooms.

To be honest, we are blessed to have seniors like those in my college as they are the helping hand in every situation you are stuck in.

Firs of all i filled the online admission form and then i waited for the erit list to be released and when i got a notification from college thorugh mail i visited the campus and completed the paper work and then i paid my fee through net banking.The factor which made me chose SCAC was only the goodwill of the college.

Symbiosis college of arts and commerce has been blessed with the best and experienced faculty from all over the india with professors from all stream. The faculty is so caring and such renowned personalities which cannot be found easily if started searching.
