Course Curriculum Overview

Fee Structure was a bit exgregated keeping in view of infrastructure. Exams and labs days are usually hectic for students but it didn't really made so furious since we got some nice cafes at Hudson students are usually chilled about things

We have seen many big MNC's like EY,Bain and Co, Google coming in for hiring. the averagr surfaces around 4-5LPA. Also the internship cell ignite is really helpful as it recently organised anubhava the annual intership fest and hot some really cool and companies

College Events

Our college organises two event first one is anual fest that is lashkara that goes for around 3 days having an uncontrolled footfall of more that 15k students in which a famous Punjabi singer is welcomed on third day where as first 2 days mark the events of different sociaties I have been part of perspica the business economics society's fest Another is khel utsav including different sports between different societies

Campus Life

Our college give bost to religion activities like kirtan ,traditions like bhagra gidha , and we have got the best team of football and cricket overall. Extracurricular activities are carried out really well

Hostel Facilities

Though I have not opted for hostel since I live in delhi only but my friend told me that facilities and hostel infrastructure is not that bad comprising a girl's hostel and under-construction boys hostell tooo rates are normalise for students

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are really helpful but didn't got the opportunity to meet alumni as allumni meet got cancelled due to ongoing situations though we were planning to organise it after this but as we can note the situations are not in control so maybe the idea can be shifted to next year

Admission

Getting in SGTB was bit easy though from the minority list being a Sikh student . but still I gave the du jat entrace exam and got into busines economics

Faculty

Faculty is really helpful and friendly. Been in business economics cource have encountered various faculties though and have seen they are far more interested in learning and making us learn new things in a really supportive way. Thought haven't got any trouble with professor but sometimes teachers or specefic cource are really partial towards some Students

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
