The college is very good. The Infrastructure could have been better.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is vaste. It has a lot of aspects that is much needed for a student who aims at starting their own business or plans to join a corporate firm. The student can decide his path of specialisation after the first year and then based on it the required content is provided.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college is really strong and companies like E&Y Deloitte etc come to campus for placements. The internship opportunities are numerous and students get on campus and off campus opportunities.
College Events
Symagine, Costeo semina, paapi pait, Spandan are some of the prominent fests conducted at symbiosis. They are held by various departments or at college level. Each fest has a different theme to it. Some of them are college based fests and some allow outsiders to join in as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. They accept online payments. The fees are paid year wise. The college provides transparency in the fees structure breakup. They generate an online receipt that helps understand the different kinda of amount a student needs to pay.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I didn’t apply for any scholarship. Although they had provision for it. They helped students from backward section of the society.
Campus Life
The campus had a mix crowd of students. Some of them were local some were from different states and some of them were NRI. The college has a mix of various students which keeps it balanced. It has an healthy environment to learn and grow. All the students are from various economic backgrounds.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong. They have an online website where the students can register. They have regular alumni meets too.
Admission
BCom gave a wide career option. I had the freedom to choose one amongst the many. I could do my graduation and internship at the same time. The course included a lot of practical business knowledge which helped me decide my career path. BCom is mostly combined with courses such as CA or CS.
Faculty
The college faculty is really good and are upto date with the current happenings. They help in giving guidance outside class too. They come from various backgrounds and share knowledge. Each HOD makes sure that the students are given proper attention and share the industry relevant examples.
