Remarks

With respect to faculty for our course, Hindu is too good and one should consider it if interested in quality and cheap education regime.

Entrance Preview

I had enrolled myself in Hindu college in 2003 after passing out my schools. Had got 87% and fit well in the cut off list of Hindu college. I had fit into the cut off list from most of the colleges but as destiny planned landed up in the best place of all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was as per the set standards by the university regulations. At that point it seemed to be too much to study but now when evaluated at this stage, all seems to be in place with respect to not only the content by phasing semester wise.

Internships Opportunities

I did graduation course at Hindu college and there was no internship semester as a part of the course.

Placement Experience

1.5

No job though but it gave me an opportunity to know what I want my future to look like. During my studies, they made us be part of organization dealing more with environment so that it is easier for us to sensitize ourselves for the softer issues. I did my post graduation after that and Hindu college faculties were completely supportive for us to find a correct line of future for us.

College Events

3.5

Overall for the college there was an annual festival which was a huge success and well known in the entire university. A part form that at course level, we had inaugurated an environment club for which I was the leader (president). We had a rocking festival to promote the club and sensitize people about environment. The club was all discussed over in the newspapers and news articles.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee fits well within your pocket. Nothing can be as cheap and awesome as the Delhi university fee structure. It was hardly any amount that had to be paid. The only problem during 2003 was that there was no girls hostel. But the construction was on and now girls have equal opportunity as boys to settle and feel like home.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no such facility neither it is needed. But I am sure there would be some quota reserved for people who cannot afford the fees.

Campus Life

3.5

Debates - No competition in that. Hindu had one of the best debators. In terms of gender equality and ratio Hindu has overarching number of females as compared to boys. Student diversity was excellent. People from different states, origin interest under one roof was a great time.

Hostel Facilities

2

There was no girls hostel at that time. But I had some boys in my department who were staying in the boys hostel. They had awesome views about the hostel. The food served within hostel premises was too good and yummy. I have had the opportunity to have it

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network of the department is good. But the one of the college does need improvement as still not able to link to the college on a whole.

Exam Structure

The phasing of the course was so well that it never felt as a a stressful day. We used to enjoy the lab work as that was made a fun time by out awesome faculties. Not just the main subject, even the subsidiaries lab work was a fun time. The course structu

Faculty

4.5

The best faculty that you could find for teaching botany was at Hindu. Be it microbiology or genetics, the best standards of teaching and collaborating with students were undertaken. It was ensured that outstation students felt like at home and are able t

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
