It can be provide better facility in the sense there is no support for extra activity. student contribute themselves to make fest happen for their own society.
Course Curriculum Overview
One draw back for du colleges are we dont have placement cell as good as other private colleges but yes somewhat I appreciate the culture. Every exam is divided into semesters so we have two exams in one year. And total of 6 exam. We need to attend 4 question which is pretty normal question. This course is always about exploring. If you explore society then you course will surely help you to understand what ia society.
Placement Experience
We dont have any placement cell for our course. So not applicable. We have to seach for internship if we wish to.
College Events
We have a big fest season which used to be held in the month of March. Also we have different society. And accordingly small fest are done. For ex. We have all that jazz for dance society. No of participants are 13 team. Where different colleges come up and abow their talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very feasible and also we have scholarships for student from different background. We have to pay only once in a year. No extra charge was asked except examination fees. We have ngos so have to complete 500 hrs if not completed then we have to pay 500 rs extra for that.
Fees and Financial Aid
NA, I haven't applied for any loan or scholarship. our college do provide us with scholarship based on family income as well as student performance. So scholarship is given accordingly as per income and cgpa.
Campus Life
Knc is extremely good at extra curriculum activity. Our fashion and debated society is one of the best society among delhi university. We have also know for theatre and dance society. our college as mentioned is always top 10 for education as well as for extra curriculam.
Hostel Facilities
Kamala nehru doesn't have any hostel facilities we have quarter for Staffs. But college dont provide us with any hostel. We have to search for own nearby pg. We have two college together in green park so that would makes easy to find pg nearby college.
Alumni/Alumna
Everyone is working in their own paths. But whenever need we all come together. So when there is audition for extra curriculum we support and we go for alumni meet whenever happen. so everyone is still helpful.
Admission
I always wanted to be a sociologist so I firat marked the top 10 college in du and I got admission in kamala nehru college in second cut off. procedure was very simple to fill the omr sheet and then waited for the cut off once it was declared I choose my college and got admission on the same day.
Faculty
We have approximately 6 lectures. Between the age of 35 to 45. Almost every lecturer was done phd except 2 and one lecturer was temporary because of the course subject psychology which was option so for that we have no fixed faculty member. There are different professor who use to teach us. Every lectures was certified. And have good knowledge about the subject which makes interesting also to learn the subject better.
