One of the best Engineering college in Trivandrum

The college management was good, nothing bad to say about.

The course curriculum and exam structure is very fair, the learning imparted is very organized and it follows a well set syllabus, providing industry specific knowledge to student, so we get more practical knowledge in dealing with industrial tasks, so it would be very helpful in securing on-campus placements.

Placement drive was okay during my time, since I graduated during the recession time. But still companies used to conduct recruitment drives.

A lot of technical and cultural fests were conducted in our college, which were usually organized by the senior most batch in our college. The technical and cultural events were usually organized in our college auditorium or else we used to rent out other big auditoriums, and the participation was usually high.

The fees structure is very feasible, as we had lot of government seats available, so the fees were according to government norms. The mode of payment accepted during my time was cash, but now online or card payments might be there, there were no additional fees, and the fee-breakdown was completely transparent.

No I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loans, but I have heard that it is easy to avail education loans.

The campus at the college is very large, which is very green and lush. It had a very even gender ratio and was diverse. The college offered various extracurricular activities including sports and it has a very large ground for various sports. They used to conduct competitions in between, and the labs were also sufficient.

No, I didn't opt for hostels since my home was near and I used to be a daily scholar, but there were friends of mine who used to stay at hostels and PGs and from their opinion the hostel service was not bad and it was affordable.

Alumni network and senior students were helpful in dealing with our studies, they were helpful in sharing their study resources.

I opted this course because I were interested in knowing more about the technical aspects in the electronics field and wanted to pursue a career in technical stream. The admission process was very simple, it was based on our entrance exam rank, and they conducted an admission drive followed by an interview.

There were lot of lecturers in our college specific to the subjects, most of the lecturers were young and enthusiastic, but experienced were also there. Though they were young, but still they had the practical knowledge in most subjects and there were no issues regarding the clarity of the subjects.
