It was my college so no Bad remarks as such but, yeah i would say one thing the quality and style is a bit low if you compare it Mithibai, Xaviers etc.
Entrance Preview
I didn't take any entrance examination as i was a outstation student from UP. I was not knowing many options for a better college which was in the budget which parents could afford, hence, i chose TCSC for pursuing my graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good and covered the subjects of my interest like the course which i opted for had Software Engineering, Data Structures, C Programming Language, JAVA, JDBC etc. The course also concentrated on the IT Service Management, Project Management etc.
Internships Opportunities
In my tenure of Three Years i had seen Organizations like Wipro Infotech, Infosys, Wipro BPO, Sutherland etc came for recruitment. I was one of the Campus hires in Wipro.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are not that good as compared to other competitors in the market. But the Thakur Placement cell tries its best to get the right and genuine firms for Placement. I am not aware of the present situation same can be checked with other Alumni who are linked with the college
College Events
The event celebrated in the college was Trishna which was the annual festival. We also used to organize some technical fests also in our college. I am not aware of the present situations on the fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is i would say bit more than feasible. TCSC has gained a good mark in the field of education and has become a good platform for development.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of this facility. This best can be checked by the administration of TCSC. They are friendly and will assist in getting the details.
Campus Life
Thakur was good in Sports, like we ha d a Football team and also participated in the inter college competitions with colleges like Xavier. We have also win prices by standing out in the same.
Hostel Facilities
I was not staying in hostels hence i will not be able to comment anything on it. Also, I am not sure of any hostel facility available in TCSC. Please check for the details.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good as the students stay connected via Social Networking sites. Also, the seniors of the college are very helpful and approachable
Exam Structure
TCSC follows a Semester wise pattern. The course i completed was Bsc IT which had 6 Semesters and a final project at the end of the 6th Year.
Faculty
The faculty of my college was very good and literate. The delivered what they were committed for. The faculty was very approachable and avoided a biased student policy.
