Know nit patna

I wanted to pursue my BTech from Civil Engineering from an IIT but unfortunately, I don't qualified for jee advance so I decided to this from NIT because I got good marks in jee mains 2016, I search a good college for civil engineering then I found NIT Patna is the best college for civil engineering stream so I decided to take admission in this college. After jee mains result in I apply for online counselling where I fill this college for admission, I got this college in the first round of allotment and I take 5 colleges and after they all process goes to the college for admission on 28 July 2016 after all the documents verification process I started my college from 1 august 2016. The basic reason for selecting this college is it is the best college for civil engineering in past years so I decided to take admission in this college.

The course curriculum is well designed as in the first year you have to study one subject from each branch because if you wanted to upgrade your stream in 2nd year you can change your branch as per marks obtained in the first year. In the 2nd and 3rd year, you have to study your branch's main subjects and then in 4th year you have to do 2 minor projects and 1 major projects with some optional subjects. The student-faculty ratio is very good in college and all the faculty are highly qualified and very experienced and have very good teaching skills. There are two exams in a semester mid-semester and end semester, its not that difficult to pass them for an average student you study regularly for a hours, and obviously its very tough who does not study regularly.

From 7th semester you are eligible for campus placement and very good companies are visited here for placement like amazon Oracle Accenture Larsen and you to etc. The highest package is of 27 LPA to average package 7 LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed in campus placement. I'm preparing for gate exam because my parents don't allow me to do this private job.

After the MHRD fee hike in 2016 we have to 125000 per year and it's too high but it's ok because we get a very experienced and well-qualified professor. I'm not eligible for any scholarship ao I can not talk about scholarship but for a financial assistant, you can take education loan from the Allahabad bank situated in the campus of NIT Patna. In the final year, many companies are coming for recruiting like Larsen and Toubro, tata, afcons, Infosys. If you are an average student you will easily get placed in those companies with good income of about 5-6 LPA.

The campus life was so good as college organise an annual techno culture fest named corona and melange, corona for technical and melange for cultural programmes. Apart from this every year a sports programme named Dangal is organised by the college where all the 7 branches compete in different sports to be crowned for an overall champion. This will be held in three different categories sports, athletics, power sports. Almost each and every book you will find in the library its good collection of books in the college library.

There is a room for two students in which you got two beds, two table chairs and a fan and a balcony and wifi is available on each floor and my hostel is of 11 floors so there is two mess one is on the ground floor and one is on 3rd floor the quality of food is quite good but not the best. For hostel admission you have to fill the form for hostel allotment as per the availability they are filling the hostels. In Mahendra, you will find a good room for around 2500 per month.
